Paris Tips

🏷️Paris Pass - probably not worth it if you like to slow travel. It can be worth it if you have consecutive days, want to do a lot of things that are covered, and plan your itinerary around those things. Since you've already been to Paris twice though and might do a day trip, and since things are not generally that expensive here, I don't think you need it.

🚇Metro - I suggest getting a Navigo Easy pass from one of the information desks at a bigger metro station. I think it costs 2 EUR, and then you can download the RATP app and load it with single metro ride tickets as needed.

🎒Bags - Crossbody bags are preferable to backpacks mostly for security, since you can keep it in front of you with your hand on it at all times.

🧥Clothes - September is usually pretty nice, like an extended summer! But it will be getting into fall, so a light jacket/cardigan, maybe a light scarf, and a rain jacket or umbrella will be good to have. It can be quite warm during the day and then cool off in the evenings.

👟Shoes - I wear Birkenstock sandals when it's hot, or All Birds or Veja sneakers for close-toed options. Veja is definitely one of the French "it-girl" sneaker brands of the last couple of years! Vivaia is the brand I want to try next - they're eco-friendly, machine-washable shoes that are supposed to be good for travel.
