Little Venice
@giuliamartini
This is something you will never see in the TOP 10 places to visit in London but I totally disagree. This district in West London lies around the Regent’s Canal and it forms an amazing triangular shape basin sorrounded by stucco terraced town houses. Since it is a residential area, the atmosphere is calm and quiet. Nevertheless, the area is full or restaurants, shops, pubs and theatres so there is plenty of stuff to do there.

The Brick Lane Vintage Market
@giuliamartini
If you are looking for a different type of Sunday, this is the right place to go. Located in the area between Shoreditch and WhiteChapel, this is an original market area where you will find bargains of all type and great food 🙂 There is a central area (yes, that’s where the main picture of this post was taken) where you can enjoy exotic meals sold right from colorful food trucks, great cocktails and an indoor market selling natural, bio products and showcasing innovative, local brands (I do not know if that is still the case or whether they change it periodically)

Sky Garden
@giuliamartini
This amazing garden is the highest public one in London and it offers a 360- degree view of the city skyline. Here you can enjoy the greenery, walk out on the open air terrace and get a spectacular view from the observation decks. Be careful about the entry hours and ticket policy: this place offers free entrance on weekdays 10am-6pm and weekends 11am-9pm. Nevertheless, still DO BOOK YOUR VISIT IN ADVANCE if you do not want to be disappointed. To be honest, I have never booked mine because they do accept walk-ins at every moment of the day if they have the space available but I wouldn’t recommend it if you are on a tight schedule and don’t have time to reschedule.

Duck & Waffle London
@giuliamartini
This is a MUST GO when you are in London. It is a modern restaurant at the 40th floor of the Heron Tower offering traditional British dishes with European influence. All day dining is a must at the highest 24/7 restaurant in London. I recommend you either go at sunrise or at sunset because the view is simply amazing and there is no another way you can get such an intimate, careful and welcoming experience. I personally have always had breakfast at sunrise here because there are far less people and the atmosphere is super relaxed. For all additional information go check out the link of the restaurant I’ve shared as a caption of the image above.

Primrose Hill
@giuliamartini
Get up early and watch the sun rise at Primrose Hill!! There is nothing better than starting the day off by getting a hot cup of cappuccino, walking your way up the hill and quietly staring at the amazing skyline take form. Obvisouly don’t do that during winter times as it might get a little chilly out

Hackney Wick
@giuliamartini
Close to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, this hectic neighbourhood is gaining momentum and attracting more and more visitors. It is exactly because of its proximity to the Park that the area received community and public realm development grants which allowed to build a residential / artistic / sporty neighbourhood. It has usually been home to professional creatives, artists and musicians only but today the hipster vibe resonates as a vibrant call to a wider public with many waterfront bars and restaurants, apartment spaces, parks and green areas.
