Las Vegas: The Ultimate Guide

Las Vegas: The Ultimate Guide

JackxJo
The 24th most populous city in the United States is known as the entertainment capital of the world for a reason. From gambling in world famous casinos, watching star studded performers like Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, to renting a car and visiting a national park just two hours away, Las Vegas has everything you could ever ask for, making trip planning very stressful. Jordan and I have visited many times and will be returning as soon as we can, it just never gets old. This guide will help you understand how to plan a trip to the Las Vegas strip and hopefully make the experience less overwhelming. In this guide you will find: The best places to stay The best places to eat The best bars The best things to do A (rough) guide on gambling Key notes we deem important for a visit A 4 day Las Vegas itinerary

Las Vegas

It is important to note that this guide mainly features hotels and restaurants on the strip. If you are look for true budget travel, that does not exist on the strip. I do believe staying on the strip is the best way to experience Vegas, and my goal is to show you the best way to do it.

Key Notes:

- Vegas is hot. Like, really ******** hot. I've been in the summer and the winter and enjoyed the winter significantly more. Summers will see highs in the 110's and winters will see highs in the high 60's.

- Nothing is cheap (except for CVS). Get it through your head now that if you stay on the strip you'll pay strip prices. However; there is a difference between "not cheap" and "overly expensive". You can do Vegas for a reasonable cost, and I will show you how.

- The location of where you stay matters more than anything else. The goal is not to be in your room more than a few hours of the day outside of sleeping.

- Don't follow too much of a structure. Yes, I'll provide you with an exact itinerary but don't feel like you have to do everything I suggest.

JackxJo
Hey! We’re Jack and Jordan, the creators of JackxJo, and we’re here to help you unlock the world of travel—even if you think you don’t have the time or the budget for it. We are both college students at the University of Texas at Austin who have been exploring the U.S. together for three years. Being in college has made us learn how to travel efficiently both with our time and finances. We believe in honest and impactful advice. We’ve juggled busy schedules and tight budgets, but we’ve figured out how to make travel work without the stress. Our guides focus on the practical tips that actually matter: where to stay, where to eat, and what to do. Between the two of us, we’ve covered a lot of ground, and we’re constantly sharing our latest discoveries. From national parks to small towns, we’re always on the lookout for the next adventure. We’re also big believers in making travel accessible for everyone, so whether you’re a college student planning your first trip or someone looking for a quick escape from the daily grind, our guides will help you travel smarter, not harder.
