A word of advice: during peak hours, taxis can be a nightmare due to traffic jams. Embrace the metro life for a smoother journey.
Day 1: From Historic Mansions to Trendy Street
1. Wukang Mansion (武康大楼)
Metro: Line 10 or 11 to Jiaotong University Station, Exit 7 leads you straight to Wukang Mansion.
Highlights: This iconic building isn't just a hit on social media; it's a piece of history. Once home to famous figures like Soong Ching-ling, its classic architecture makes every photo look effortlessly chic.
2. Anfu Road (安福路)
For Shopping & Coffee: A paradise for BM (brand-minded) girls. Check out "Into_the Force ( 原力飞行)" for a unique coffee experience or "Miku Warehouse Cafe & Bistro (米仓Cafe＆Bistro)" for a casual bite.
For brunch lovers, "Alimentari," "RAC BAR," and "BAKER & SPICE" are must-visits.
3. Huaihai Middle Road (淮海中路)

Planning Your Visit
Choosing a weekday for our adventure was a game-changer. The crowds were significantly thinner, making for shorter queues and a more intimate experience with the magic of Disney.

Morning Preparation
Wake-Up Call: Our day began at 6:30 AM, allowing ample time for makeup and breakfast—a must for energy-packed hours ahead.
Getting There: By 7:30 AM, we were out the door. The convenience of Line 11 directly to the park gates cannot be overstated.
Entry Tips
Security Check: Smooth and swift, thanks to our preparation. Remember, an ID card and a mask are essential, and while hydration is key, glass bottles are a no-go. Comfortable shoes are non-negotiable after our nearly 30,000 steps!
Snacks and Meals: Pack light but wisely—energy bars and water are your best friends. We chose to dine off-peak around 3-4 PM to avoid the lunch rush.\
Disney App: A lifesaver for keeping track of wait times and planning our route through the park.
Must-Do Rides and Attractions
Tron Lightcycle Power Run: The thrill of speeding through digital realms had us queuing up thrice. Day or night, the experience varies with the scenery, making each ride unique.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: A 40-minute wait felt fleeting, thanks to some on-the-go photo editing. The nighttime ride added an extra layer of enchantment.
Roaring Rapids: A prepared raincoat turned waiting time into a seamless transition to adventure, ensuring we stayed dry during the exhilarating ride.
Soaring Over the Horizon: This 5D journey across 13 global landmarks was reminiscent of "Up," offering a breathtaking escape from reality.
Parades and Fireworks
Parade Magic: The joy of seeing beloved Disney characters up close is indescribable. Smiles, waves, and warmth abound during the 12 PM and 3:30-4:30 PM parades. Tip: secure your spot early for the best view.
Fireworks Finale: The highlight of the night. To witness the sky ablaze with colors and dreams was truly stirring. For the best experience, find your viewing spot well before the 8:30 PM start.
