I have always wanted to go to this area during the Fall and I finally was able to make this dream a reality. I have taken all of my research and expertise and compiled this itinerary into a great 10-14 day road trip guide. You can spend less time or more time on your trip based on your needs. This itinerary has over 60 plus stops including places to hike, sights you can't miss, the best places to stay, the best places to eat, great photo stops, and much more. You won't have to spend hours upon hours trying to figure out where to go or what not to miss. When to Visit

I believe the best time to go is in Spring, Summer, or Fall. You certainly can go during winter but most of this route will probably be covered in snow. That doesn't mean it is a bad thing but if you want to do a lot of the exploring I would stick to the other 3 seasons. Fall would be at the top of the list. Here are some of the benefits of each season

Winter- Hardest time to go as a lot of this area is bitterly cold and filled with snow. You could easily visit some of these areas and experience some fun scenery but don't expect to be able to do a lot of the exploring due to the conditions.

Spring- The weather is beautiful as the snow melts and the flowers begin to bloom. Crowds are less and there are a lot of benefits to go during this time period.
