The best of Santa Fe is certainly concentrated in Downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods! I'd recommend you stay within these options for your trip and all will be in walking distance!

Stay where all the action is and at some of the best hotels in the area! 

If you're in Santa Fe for the art, this is a great option to be right in the thick of it! There aren't a lot of hotels, but airbnbs can also be found in the area.

Still walkable to downtown (although a longer walk), this area is a cheaper alternative and home to some great restaurants and the Santa Fe Farmers Market.

If you're in town for the spa experience:

Santa Fe is also known for rest & relaxation at their amazing spas! If that's the main focus of your trip, I'd recommend staying at the following places and taking a cab/uber into town (although beware they are can be hard to come by in non-standard hours).

Take a walking tour of Santa Fe from a local who literally wrote the book on it! Santa Fe has such a fascinating history and this walking tour really covered it while while allowing you to get oriented to the city. Ana is the best!

Alternatively, you can take an e-bike tour to explore downtown and beyond.

For the true Georgia fans, take a private museum tour:

There is a ton of shopping in Santa Fe, whether you are looking for art, clothing, decor, etc. The Plaza and E Palace Ave (closer to downtown) are great places to explore for shopping.

Highly recommended if you aren't in town for long so you can truly get a taste of the amazing cuisine!
