Ballin' on a budget

This Airbnb deserves all 5 stars when it comes to an unbeatable price & experience. Off the beaten path, tucked away in a mountain town above the coast, this Agerola home ended up providing some of the best hidden gems in the country. Be prepared for a 45 minute bus ride to & from the coast (public bus system allows this to be done for a few dollars a day!). The home is part of an authentic Italian coastal village with some of the best food in the area (more on that below). The gracious hosts stay in a neighboring home & provide endless local tips and even a home cooked breakfast on a date of your choice! The massive patio overlooking the ocean is the perfect escape after braving the crowds of other tourists within the big cities.
