Sol's Guide To Tanzania, aka Bongo
Overview
Oyster bay area is pretty safe. Tons of consulates and beautiful beaches nearby! I recommend carrying credit cards to pay for meals and things. If you stay at Oyster Bay Suites, there's a bank below with an ATM and they can exchange funds for you. Due to it's religious background (islam) the city is pretty conservative and safe. The only thing I warn is that if you walk around or while you're sitting in your car, don't have your phone out for long. Bikers can come by and snatch it.
Transportation
Oyster Bay helps organize a driver. I recommend getting a driver through them to move around the city safely. They also have private companies that offer this for you.

Safari!
A cool thing to do while there is go on safari. I went to Mikumi National Reserve, and it was incredible. I recommend bringing long clothes and bug sprays because the flies were CRAZY. You can take the bus, but I recommend getting a chartered flight.
Must Sees!
While you're in Tanzania, I HIGHLY recommend Zanzibar. It's a short ferry ride from Tanzania and very worth it.
