How to get there:

Located between the San Bernardino Mountains and the Little San Bernardino Mountains in San Bernardino County, California, United States. Oak Glen is located 15 miles east of San Bernardino.

From the 10 freeway going east: Exit Live Oak Canyon Rd towards Oak Glen Rd. Turn Left onto Live Oak Canyon Rd. Take a slight right onto Potato Canyon Rd. Take a slight right onto Oak Glen Rd. You'll know as soon as you are in town. The town is one big loop and you can exit on the other end and will see the freeway.

Lets get started on the loop:

This place is a must; especially during Christmas! We always stop here for a slice of apple pie from Apple Annie's Bakery (my favorite in all of Oak Glen), the play ground and a bite to eat at Apple Annie's restaurant. Last fall we visited and a live band was playing. Good times for all! During Christmas Santa is there free of charge for the children to share their wish list with. Other activities at Oak Tree Mountain: Axe throwing, panning for gold, giant slide, mini zoo and shopping. Note: this past visit when snow was present they did charge $15 per car for parking. Just be aware.

Oak Glen Preserve

Free to enter and a gorgeous easy walk through nature. We loved walking through here and reading fun facts along the way. They even have a few mini redwood trees in a group that are roped off. The roped off area represents the massive size of the General Sherman Tree that can be seen in the Sequoia National forest in Northern Ca. Nature guides are super friendly and informative. A must stop before or after taking a visit at Los Rios Ranch.

Lots of parking and space to set up and enjoy some good bbq, music and nature. We like to stop here for a tri-tip sandwich, petting zoo, country store and live music. Lots of space to let my boys run wild!

This place is a gem! Pizza, Coffee, Cigars, Wine Tasting and more! As you enter it looks like a quaint little cafe with an elaborate coffee menu. (The apple latte was amazing). They also have a wood fire pizza oven. We always order a few pizzas and enjoy them outside. Connected to the eatery is a room where you can enjoy wine tasting, small gifts and cigars (to purchase).

Riley's Farm

This place is my childhood! I remember going here as a kid on field trips as well as with family. The memories of cider making and candle dipping have now been handed down to my children. They still offer the immersive colonial life experiences! So much fun! Along with the themed experiences you can book you can also pick apples when in season. Food: the chicken pot pie, braised beef pie and corn chowder are stellar! We loved to enjoy them in the dimly lit tavern when the live band is playing traditional colonial era music. So much fun!
