SKIP the guides about the Golden Circle unless you're committed to staying in Reykjavic and only venturing out for a day. This guide has the highlights and agenda to do it all along the Southern Coast in just 3-4 days. (I recommend renting a Tesla and using the superchargers along the way to save time.)
Maximize your time by seeing all of the South Coast plus a "secret" island where they have re-homed Beluga Whales. Highly recommend going all the way to Jökulsárlón, which was THE surprising highlight of my trip.

Blue Lagoon (obviously!)
@_ariel_
While there are other spas now, the Blue Lagoon still absolutely deserves a visit.
Reservations recommended. Sites like GetYourGuide.com have better cancellation policies than the Blue Lagoon directly.
The LAVA restaurant is beautiful but our food was just OK so I recommend getting a drink or dessert before or after the Lagoon.

Fagradalsfjall Volcano
@_ariel_
For Hiking:
There are no services at sight, so plan for a pit stop in Grindavik if need anything for hike. https://www.visitgrindavik.is/
Please note that the paths have a rugged terrain with gravel, rocks and steep hills with an elevation of 50-150 m. Also, note that they may be slippery and wet, depending on the weather conditions. It is strongly advised to wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring hiking poles for balance.
$8 parking
Three paths to choose from. https://www.visiticeland.com/article/hiking-to-the-volcano/
The Fagradalsfjall volcano is located in an uninhabited area of the Reykjanes peninsula. Since 2021, there have been three eruptions in this region of South Iceland. At around 30 kilometres (19 miles) away from Reykjavík, local authorities don’t consider it a threat.
The latest eruption is close to the Fagradalsfjall volcano. But this time, lava is flowing from fissures in the ground between the peaks of Litli-Hrútur and Keilir.

Dive Silfra & Laugarvatn Fontana
@_ariel_
Combined Silfra snorking and spa stop in link. This is a must-do activity that requires very little mobility (after getting the suit on) or skill. Beautifully clear glacier water, ZERO fish and an amazing experience to swim between tectonic plates.

Geysir

It's a geysir. If it's not on your way it's TOTALLY fine to skip it. You can see geysirs elsewhere and it's not *THAT* big and spectacular. There is a close
