EGO' Boutique Hotel The Silk Road
@jenniferclark
This hotel is on the Grand canal, and there's ZERO bridges or stairs to cross to get to your room. And let's talk about the rooms, they are decorated in complete opulence...shouldn't all Venice hotels look like this? The least expensive room (Classic King) can be booked for as low as $315! It has 1 extra-large double bed and is a spacious 269 feet. It also has a private bathroom in the room, A/C, coffee machine and free wifi. If you want a little more luxury, try the Superior Double, it's 248 feet and has wine and champagne for its guests. If you want a room with a round bed, oh la la, ..check out the Deluxe Double Room, it comes in at 344 feet with a quiet street view. If you want it ALL, the Junior suite has the opulent furnishings and the Grand Canal View with 323 feet of space. The Imperial Suite has a hot tub that definitely has room for two, this is not a bathtub being called a hot tub. The room is also huge at 624 feet, with all the amenities you would expect. This would be a perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring Venice!

Hotel A La Commedia
@jenniferclark
This budget friendly hotel is within 500 feet of the St. Marks Square vaporetto stop and offers a terrace with romantic views of Venice. The rooms are nicely decorated, but on the smaller side with most being under 200 sq feet. This one wins on location, location, location, being within 600 feet of the Rialto bridge, and 1,600 feet to the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Square. It's close enough to make it convenient, but not in the middle of the crowds.

Porta da mar
@jenniferclark
This hotel is budget friendly and only a short walk from the Arsenal vaporetto stop, with just one bridge to traverse. The rooms have a private bathroom, A/C, and fine wooden floors. This is well maintained hotel with a few Venetian flourishes like Murano-glass chandeliers. The rooms can be made with 2 twin beds, or 1 King bed. The Junior Suite has 1 King bed, and is 377 feet. For the location, presentation and price, this hotel can't be beat!
