Day one
Start your day at Treviso Airport, where you'll pick up your hire car and make the four hour road-trip to Cortina.

This is a large international airport, with many flights and companies to pick from, it's also an easier location that in the centre of Venice.

If you can stay off the toll road as you'll pass through some amazing small Italian villages as well as see some amazing landscapes. When you arrive in Cortina, pop into one of the best pizzeria's in town.

Get there early, it gets very busy with locals! The menu is extensive but all of the pizza's are amazing. Don't forget to take a look at all of the Olympic touches hanging on the walls too.

Once you ate your body weight in pizza, head just outside of town to your hotel, where you'll be staying for a few nights. On your way, just after the last set of houses stop at the view point and see the sunset.
