The ULTIMATE Thailand Traveler's Guide
Overview
Whether you're planning on visiting Thailand for a week, a month or even a year, I'm going to go through everything you need to need to know before your visit, and my personal experiences solo traveling in Thailand.
I entered Thailand the month they were opening back up from the pandemic. At the time, I barely knew anyone whose traveled to Thailand to ask for advice. I was a bit nervous but after putting in hours of research, I felt way more prepared, got the right contacts, and triple checked I had all the needed documents before entering into the country.
But without further ado, first things first:
When to go?
Even though Thailand is a mid-sized country, climates and temperature vary depending on the time of year and what region you're in.
The best time to visit Thailand is between November to March. During these months, Thailand experiences dry and cool weather, which makes it more appealing for outdoor activities and island hopping. But for this reason, keep in mind that this is the busiest time to visit, there are higher prices, and attraction sites are more crowded.
Other times to visit are between April to May and September to October. But note that you may get rainfall around the end of May and beginning of September.
