Pawnee Rock State Historic Site

Make a picnic and head to Pawnee Rock, KS. The kids will enjoy it in the afternoon of exploring. Check the temperature before you go as it does get fairly hot in Kansas during the summer. Special note : Make sure you have your family use the restroom before you head towards Pawnee Rock. There are no public restrooms in Pawnee Rock.

The Kansas cosmosphere is definitely a stop for your family as you travel through Hutchinson. Plan on spending a good part of your day here. One of our favorite places to eat in Hutchinson when we're there is Bogy's. They have wonderful hamburgers and over 100 different flavors of milkshakes.
