Bamboo Hostel Thakhek
@sylviatorkelson
This was the best hostel to stay in before and after completing the loop. Although not incredibly social, the owner, Mr Noi, is so kind and helpful! You can leave your big bags behind while completing the loop and come back to a free shower and pool!

PokemonGo Motorbike Rental
@sylviatorkelson
Although we did have some issues with our motorbikes, this company was very professional and paid us back for any out-of-pocket expenses we paid along the loop for repairs!

A cute little swimming lagoon that's free! The water was a bit dirty when I visited but it's still a very relaxing area.

Song Sa Waterfall

Google Maps is not very good at directions to this spot. You have to go up the road, past where maps says to stop until you can turn right onto a path that leads back to the falls on the other side of the water reserve.

Orchid Path to Reservoir Viewpoint
@sylviatorkelson
This was a bit of a confusing path. I think it will get better with more time and visitors, but for now it is very overgrown and a bit difficult to maneuver.

It isn't much of a specific viewpoint, but driving through the flooded forest is beautiful so make sure to take it all in!

Sandstone Buddha Rock Sculptures

I honestly almost missed this since they are just carved into the rocks on the side of the road, but they really are a cool, quick stop.

50,000 Kip entry - you walk through the cave where you can feed the fish in the water, and then walk back to the parking lot outside. There's also a lookout you can hike up to as well!

Day 3
Kong Lor Cave
@sylviatorkelson
You have to take a boat through the cave to be able to see anything. You can do a 3 hour tour that stops for snacks on the other side, or you can pay more to have your motorbike brought through on the boat and continue driving on the other side.
