Year Round Rooftop Bars in NYC

You're in NYC baby - so of course, you want to enjoy some amazing views of the city. Might I suggest a rooftop? Rooftop bars are probably the thing I get asked about the most when people ask me what they should do in NYC. So here's a map of my all-time favorite rooftop bars that are open year-round. Most of these rooftops are in Manhattan - Midtown to be exact, but there are a few outliers, including a couple in Brooklyn - where you can see views of Brooklyn AND Manhattan! Use the map function at the top right-hand corner of this guide to plan your trip & see which rooftops are closer to you. This rooftop is really popular. It's near Times Square and it's really touristy, but it's pretty budget friendly. It gets crowded, but you'll meet a lot of people. It's a cool pregame spot.

This restaurant is located on the rooftop of Eataly, and it's so good. It's one of my favorite places because it literally tastes like you're in Italy. They'll usually decorate it seasonally, and it's super Instagrammable.

1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

$$$ | I really love this one. If you can't stay at the 1 Hotel in Brooklyn, because it's really expensive, I think like $600/night, you definitely should go to the rooftop. The drinks are really good and the food is really good. They also have a pool on the roof that you can swim in during the day. You have to spend a $100 minimum per person, but that's probably what you'd spend anyway if you're spending the day there.
