Mesa Arch
Mesa Arch
Bret Edge
Dramatic cliffside sandstone arch in the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. Most commonly visited at sunrise, when reflected light paints the underside of the arch in warm red hues, Mesa Arch presents opportunities for photography for at least two hours after sunrise. Bring a wide angle lens for the iconic shot but don’t forget a long lens for a telephoto view of Airport Butte, Monster Tower and Washer Woman Arch in the canyon beyond Mesa Arch.
