My short Bergen itinerary for 2 days 1 night!

Keep in Mind…

Bergen has really unexpected weather and you might get caught in the rain at any time. Make sure you have a good rain jacket, an umbrella, and good shoes to walk in (ideally waterproof). Check the weather ahead of time and try to plan your outdoor activities around times of sunshine or light drizzle!

Also, note that Bergen tends to be extremely touristy and expensive. Make sure you buy tickets/passes ahead of time if you want to ensure your spot and try to avoid excessive spending. Budget accordingly and keep in mind that almost everything here is significantly more expensive than other cities!

Stay…

We wanted to stay somewhere relatively cheap and affordable, so we opted for a hostel. However, if your budget allows we did also see some amazing hotels with incredible views right in the city center!

If you’re looking for an affordable option this hostel was amazing for us! It was easy to get around and back because of the bus and it had an amazing view. You’ll meet a lot of backpackers and students staying here. Breakfast is also really good!
