Abu Dhabi in 5 days
Abu Dhabi was formed in the early 1900s, when the tribes were united by Sheik Zayed. The economy of the city was mainly based on the trade of pearls, but when Japan entered this branch, it started to decline and Abu Dhabi found a new resource that would provide security, namely oil. Later, in 1971, the United Arab Emirates was formed, under the leadership of the Emir of Abu Dhabi.
Get around Abu Dhabi
The airport of Abu Dhabi is Zayed International Airport, located at approximately 30 km from Abu Dhabi. You can get to the city center by taxi or by bus.
To move around the city and between objectives you can take the taxi or the bus.
🚌 Bus
The Hafilat card, for the bus, can be bought from vending machines that are placed in certain stations. Also, if you buy a Weekly Pass, make sure that you do not get outside of the city of Abu Dhabi, because the card won't work, you will get an error when getting in the bus and try to validate it. Otherwise, if you buy a normal card and recharge it, make sure to have enough money on it for the trip.
