A fun way to explore Mysore is doing a morning-evening visit from Bangalore. Of course, if you wish to take it slow and explore more of mysore, feel free to extend your trip. These recommendations should suffice for one day and more (2-3 days max).

Mysore is a small, planned city so from a tourist's perspective, there is only 1-3 days worth of activities to do based on how many activities you do in a day. Other subjectivity is with regards to transport. This itinerary assumes the use of public transport, however, like always, life will be easier in case you've driven to Mysore from Bangalore (Which is a 2 hour drive).

The Itinerary

We took the 12785 KCG Mys Sf Exp from BLR to Mysore which arrives at Mysore Junction at 9:20 AM.

Directly head to the best dosa place in the city, and arguable the state, Mylari Dosa.
