Texas Farmers' Market at Lakeline
@muktaeats
Going to the farmers market on Saturday mornings like a true Austin local 🤠😎
Honestly?? If you’re bored Saturday morning or even looking for a cute date/hangout spot definitely check out @texasfarmersmarket at Lakeline or Mueller to spend the day while also supporting our local businesses :)
Normally, stands with foods and products would have samples available (like a boujee Costco Saturday 😳) but with COVID, most places have removed their sample options for the safety of the public! So here are some of my favorites from the farmers market at Lakeline:
- Floreli Sunflower Seed Hummus: all flavors are really yummy but my favorite is the dill & garlic, @floreli.sunflower
- Citrusnade: fresh lemonades with different citrus combinations, I love the lemon-lime combo, @citrusnade
- Easy Tiger: for this one you’ll have to come early because they sell out super fast, but have the best kinds of breads, @easytigeratx
- Gardeners Feast (Tamale Addiction): which are organic masa tamales, my favorite is the mole chicken tamale 😋 @tamale_addiction
- Lua Brazil: some of the best Brazilian cheese bread (Pão de Quejio), my favorite is the original flavor- but I’ve always wanted to try the pizza flavor 🍕 @tapiofoods
- Buddha’s Brew: organic kombucha, my favorite flavor is peach mint @buddhasbrew
TFM @ lakeline also has popular Austin vendors like @tacodeli @roundrockhoney and @juliemyrtillebakery that I have yet to try! This event is open every Saturday morning from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Lakeline and 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Mueller! Support local businesses by checking out their stands at these farmers markets :)

The Peached Tortilla
@muktaeats
Wanna be “flavor smitten” 😍🤤?? Check out this Asian-Southern fusion restaurant @peachedtortilla
@peachedtortilla has a few locations around Austin including one at ABIA (which is currently closed due to the pandemic), one on Burnet, a bar on W 6th Street (Bar Peached), and a traveling food truck!
I started off with the Kimchi Arancini Balls which are basically fried kimchi risotto balls and they were so good I asked for another order to-go 🤫😋 then I got the Lush Pork Belly Bowl which came with three slabs of flat-top seared pork belly 🤤 some pickled vegetables, and a 45 minute egg #omnomnom
Their main restaurant, has a separate social house you can request during social hour which has $5-$6 drinks, and $4-$5 snacks!
Some of their popular menu items include
- Bahn Mi Taco
- Kimchi Arancini Balls
- Pork Belly Buns
- Lush Pork Belly Bowl
- Malaysian Laksa Bowl
- Banana Nutella Spring Rolls

Mojo Coffee
@muktaeats
Check out @mojolakeline a drive-thru coffee shop!! 😋☕️
First, the staff, they were the NICEST employees, super patient and kind when we were ordering! We also grabbed one of their stamp cards- and the employee stamped 9/10 of my spots- after my first order too! 😱🙃
Now onto the coffee, it’s cheaper than your usual grab and go order from other coffee shops nearby and they have so many flavors and options you can tailor your coffee to your individual tastes!! Another thing I like about @mojolakeline is that their roast feels lighter- almost a like a blonde roast which I tend to prefer 🤤🤤
They recently just opened their Lakeline location in Northwest Austin so go show them some love!!

Gourdough's Big. Fat. Donuts.
@muktaeats
Austin is known for its various food trucks BUT especially this one... @gourdoughs donuts are BY FAR some of my favorite sweet treats here!!
Gourdough’s Donuts have two locations- a sit-in restaurant or ‘public house’ and a food trailer on South 1st street!
They are known for their big. fat. donuts. topped with anything you could possibly think of- yes including chicken 🥰😋

Enjoying the classic 70 degree Austin December with some ice cream from @frozenrollscreamery 😍🤤
Frozen Rolls Creamery is located on North Lamar and has patio seating, pick up and delivery options at the moment. They are downtown Austin’s first Thai-styled rolled ice cream shop and are still going strong!
