PARIS Dance!

PARIS Dance!

DANCE STUDIOS and SOCIALS focusing on URBANKIZ. If you go without researching, it can be hard to find out where all of the GOOD dance classes and socials are. I've been to Paris 4 times since 2022 specifically to train in UrbanKiz! My boyfriend is from Paris, and he took me to a few more spots. So you're getting my most recent research and experiences. Hot off the press 😉 Of course, as a dancer, I added a bit of Tango, Bachata, Salsa spots. As a foodie I added a couple of my favorite local cafés! Also listed are a few hotels/hostels to stay so you're centrally located between the dance studios. This is great for someone who wants to dance, dance, dance for a couple of weeks in Paris, especially UrbanKiz. Organized in 3 categories: 1. Lodging 2. Dance SCHOOLS 3. Dance SOCIALS

LODGING

Generator Paris
@DaliaDanceVacay
Generator Hostels/Hotels are known worldwide especially among #digitalnomads. They have a good reputation for being well-located in popular cities, clean, hip and competitively priced. And, of course, solid wifi. This is still more expensive than St Christophers.

St Christopher's Inn Paris Canal

GOOD HOSTEL IN CALM DISTRICT. NO KITCHEN. I love this area of Paris called La Villette. Apparently it's known as one of the nicer zones. It's quiet, residential, with a quaint river walk, restaurants and bateau cafés. Various Metro lines within a short 5-minute walk. Easily connected by bus, as well. I found this was a great location between my two fave dance schools. This hostel has two branches at least in Paris. I would not recommend the one in Gare du Nord because that area is too congested, but it's the main train station.

Holiday Inn Express Paris - Canal de la Villette, an IHG Hotel

If hostels aren't your thing, this Holiday Inn Hotel has all the benefits of the great location, with a view of the calm river in a residential area where locals stroll, run and exercise along the river, with plenty of local restaurants and bateau cafés. Easily connected by Metro and busses. Great area between my two fave dance schools.

Aparthotel Adagio Access Paris Philippe Auguste
@DaliaDanceVacay
When I was planning an UrbanKiz DanceVacay and considering bringing friends with me for 2-3 weeks, this seemed like one of the best options. Great conditions: - Well-located between my fave dance studios - Competitively priced - Kitchenette - Hotel with capacity for 2-4 people per room

Dance SCHOOLS

Some of my favorite spaces to take UrbanKiz classes within Paris. Some are actual dance academies and one of them is a community school-and-arts-space that's used by a dance school. Also offered are Kizomba (what they call "Authentic"), Salsa On1, Cuban Salsa, Hip Hop, Bachata Sensual, Tango, Afrobeats, Jazz etc. Oh, and as a foodie, I've dropped a couple of my fave cafés nearby as well!

DANCE CLASSES/STUDIO AND URBANKIZ NIGHTS AND MILONGAS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Many styles of dance classes. Well-known Milonga and UrbanKiz social called "Saida." NOTE: The studio is hard to find. From the street, go up stairs to this open-air plaza BETWEEN buildings (NOT inside of buildings). Look in my photo gallery for an image of the entrance.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dance, Food & Culture. I've lived in Spain, Egypt, Panama, Florida and California for years. My passport is American (y hablo español), but I'm a citizen of the world 🌍 having spent more of my life outside of the states than within it. I can help you determine which CARIBBEAN island you'd like most, which city in SPAIN fits your personality, where to go in Paris to dance, which cities in FLORIDA are worthwhile if you like history, culture, beaches, night life, or attractions, exploring EGYPT's pharaonic, Christian, Arabic history as well as it's beaches! Just ask away. 📞 Let's chat about food, dance, culture, activities and low-key, less touristy locations. 1. Give me a feel for your personality and interests. Would love to meet you. 2. Based on that convo, I'll suggest an itinerary in: - Panama - Lisbon - Spain - Egypt - France - the Caribbean islands - Florida Also ask about the countries in the region. Of course, when I was living in each of these areas, I traveled through the region, so I can help you hone in on cities and activities that fit your personality. And if you're a dancer we MUST CHAT before you travel❗ My dances are Salsa, Bachata Sensual, Tango, Kizomba/UrbanKiz. After 28 years of traveling to train in dance I can maximize your fun and help you experience a meaningful, unforgettable trip with other dancers. More about me: This past year I've split my time between Miami, St Petersburg (Florida), France, St Martin and St Barth (French Caribbean) with a Tango-filled trip to Buenos Aires in between! Dance training is one of my biggest passions and motivator for getting on a plane. Mixing in your passions is the ultimate way to travel. 😉 And who doesn't like food? I've got to admit, though, that as a former Lifestyle Editor and with frequent trips to Paris... I'm spoiled. Expect foodie recommendations! HABLO ESPAÑOL 📞 ¡Sería un placer hablar!
