Vacationing next to the Danube in Vienna

If you are looking for renting out apartments to feel like home, here you can find some with a twist! Both apartments are located 2 minutes away from the closest tram station.
On a budget
There are also accessible option for accomodation on the other side of the Danube and one of them is Lenas Donau Hotel. A clean and tidy hotel very well positioned in front of a tram station.
Danube island
Do you want to spend a day in greenery and after that chill next to the water with an Aperol Spritz? Try spending the day on the Donauinsel with a pit stop at Copa Beach! At Copa Beach you have plenty of options of chill lounges with street food and drinks.
I always miss Italy but it's Amore takes care of my tummy with yummy Italian food all the time! If you feel like going on a culinary journey to Italy, this is the place to be!
On the 57th floor of the DC Tower the 57 restaurant and lounge are waiting for you! Enjoy a dinner with a view or a cocktail with a view in the 57 Lounge and catch the most beautiful sunset of the city!
On the upper old Danube
If you feel like sunbathing, swimming in the hot old Danube water and play some beach volley ball, this is the right place for you. Grab your towel, there is enough space!
In Wirtshaus am Wasserpark you can explore the austrian cuisine at it's finest with a very nice view over the Danube and Romawiese.
Ufertaverne is recongnized for their fish specialities but I can say that their late breakfast with a view over the water is also something to remember!
On the lower old Danube
If you decide spending the day on the lower Danube area there are also plenty of options on where to put your beach towel, no worries! The gastronomy also offers some restaurants with a lot of tradition.
Free body culture bathing zone
If you like swimming without clothes, no worries! This bathing area offers you the option. You only need to pay a small entrance fee and look for the "FKK" signs.

In case a boat is too boring for you no worries, in Vienna you can rent your own floating island!
Vienna City Beach Club (VCBC)
Spend the afternoon at VCBC playing beach volley ball, swimming or just enjoy some nice summer drinks next to the water. Later in the evening the party will start so remove your flip-flops and get ready to dance in the sand!
