Surry Hills - Specialty Coffee & Australian Brunch

A very chic and fancy spot in a perfect location: a traditional building from the 1900s in the popular La Missió neighborhood. Besides serving excellent coffee and Matcha Tea, the place is run by an Argentinian couple who also offer delicious sweets like authentic "alfajores of dulce de leche" from their homeland. This is my favorite café on the island! It's run by an Italian family who make the best croissants in Mallorca – truly out of this world! – and delicious homemade ice cream ❤️ While it’s not a specialty coffee shop per se, they offer authentic Italian coffees that aren’t very popular on the island, like caffè Shakerato and caffè Corretto. However, there isn’t a great variety of teas, and certainly no Matcha. Santal is a unique place, and what makes it stand out from the rest is its excellent location and beautiful design 😍. Surrounded by rustic, natural Mallorcan stone, it makes the most of its spacious and comfortable sun-trap terrace in one of the four 17th-century mills on Calle Industria. While they don't have Matcha tea - bad news for me - they offer a good variety of coffees and other teas.
