@wayfaring_nerd
Schilthorn is famous as the peak where a James Bond movie was shot. Take the bus number 141 to Stechelberg and then take the cable car to Schilthorn with changeover at Gimmelwald, Mürren and Birg.
You can also hike from Birg since Birg has a free cliff walk, restaurant and options for ⛷️
There is also a revolving restaurant called Piz Gloria at Schilthorn which requires a reservation.
Please check the web cam before going to Schilthorn to avoid misty comditions ruining your day.
The journey is discounted using the Swiss Travel Pass or the half fare card.
All the passes cover the journey until Mürren and charge you from Mürren to Birg to Schilthorn.

Grütschalp
@wayfaring_nerd
It is a station which can be used to reach Mürren. One can take a train to Mürren from Grütschalp. The train station is situated at the cable car station. So you just have to get out of the cable car and take the train

Mürren
@wayfaring_nerd
There are two ways to reach Mürren from Lauterbrunnen
One is via Grütschalp and another is via Gimmelwald - both the routes are added in the link.
You can also walk from Gimmelwald to Mürren to experience the villages
Do note that the Mürren cable car and the Mürren railway station are 10 mins apart. So if you come via Grütschalp to Mürren, there can come a time where there is no train back to Grütschalp and so you have to take a cable car back to Lauterbrunnen. So you might have to walk to the cable car station from the train station

Wengen
@wayfaring_nerd
Another village that can be explored while going to coming from Jungfraujoch. One can walk from Kleine Scheidegg to Wengen.
Please follow the map link in the links section to get the exact station in Wengen to go back to Lauterbrunnen( since if you generally search for Wengen, google maps might not show you a way back to
Lauterbrunnen). Also be mindful of the timings, as you might not find a mode of transport after a certain point during winters

Jungfraujoch
Kleine Scheidegg
@wayfaring_nerd
Embark on an unforgettable adventure to Jungfrau, the "Top of Europe." Marvel at the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, glaciers, and the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps.
One can go to Jungfraujoch from Lauterbrunnen via Kleine Scheidegg. Change here for train to Eigergletscher and then another train from Eigergletscher to Jungfraujoch. One needs to use the half fare pass to buy the return ticket from Eigergletscher to Jungfraujoch. This ticket can be bought from the ticket checker on the train using your credit card or cash. You can also buy it from the SBB app. The remaining part of the journey is covered using the Bernese Oberland pass.
One can also use this route to go to Jungfraujoch and take the return route via Grindelwald or vice versa.
One can also take the same route on the return journey and get down at Kleine Scheidegg to walk upto Wengen

Consider sitting on the right side of the train from Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg and Kleine Scheidegg to Eigergletscher for better views. The train from Eigergletscher to Jungfraujoch goes through a tunnel, so it doesn’t matter where you sit

There is an observation deck at the highest floor which might be closed in the very early hours in the morning and if you happen to be one of the first few people to reach Jungfraujoch, ensure you go back to this deck in another hour or so to get spectacular views of the mountains and the glacier valleys
