Amazing South Island Road-trip with the best landscape, food and waterfalls and all you need for your trip!
Our Tour:
We have begun our journey with a longer stay in Vik, making our first stop at the black sand beach. From there, we drove to the Skogafoss Waterfall and hiked up to the top. The next morning, we headed to Fjadrargljufur to catch the Sunrise. At the Soup Company Restaurant you can watch a live lava show, later we went on a horseride at Black Beach during Sunset.
Continuig our jounrey, we made a stop at Fjaorarglijufur and at some waterfalls on the way to Höfn. We also visited Stokksnes, where we witnessed a beautiful landscape with access to the see.
On our way back to Reykjavik, we stopped at Selfalandsfoss. In the evening, we visited the Blue Lagoon and the next day, we did a Golden Circle Tour, our Highlight was the Gullfoss Waterfall.
