Day Zero/One

Land at SAN the night before

Recommend staying in Little Italy for a cost-effective, central location.

Wake up & enjoy breakfast at or near your hotel!

Rent bikes from Wheel Fun Rentals then head across the street to Broadway Pier.

Ferry across the water to Coronado Island. Hop on the bike path and head towards Coronado Beach- voted the most beautiful beach in the country.

If you have time, don’t skip the Coronado Dog Beach on the north end! Sea lion & dolphin sightings are almost guaranteed.

Grab some lunch by the beach before ferrying back to the Convention Center. Spend some time exploring Seaport Village before returning your bikes.

Don’t miss sunset at the famous Sunset Cliffs.

Finish Day One with dinner/drinks/gelato in Little Italy!

Day Two

Hop on the Pacific Surfliner by Amtrak for a scenic ride to Oceanside.

Walk the longest wooden over-water pier, watch the surfers, walk to Sea Lion Island, then spend the rest of the day lounging on the beach or bar hopping! Recommend the following for amazing drinks + views:

Catch the train back to SD and grab dinner/drinks in Gaslamp Quarter.

Day Three

After checking out of your accommodations (☹️) recommend renting a car for the day to

A) easily store your luggage

B) get yourself to the airport once you’re ready!

Drive up to La Jolla Cove to spot more sea lions, sharks, pelicans, seagulls, etc.

Wander along the Coastal Walk then grab brunch in La Jolla. Recommend the following:

Next, drive north to Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, where you’ll find miles of interconnected trails with unbeatable shoreline and downtown views.

Finish out the day lounging on Mission or Pacific Beach.
