London is one of the most MAGICAL cities to visit during the Holiday Season! The city goes all out in terms of their decorations and they really bring out the Christmas spirit! There are not many places like it! After spending 2 holiday seasons in London, come with me to discover my favorite places to find enchanting Christmas lights and festive decorations around the city! On this list, you'll find some of my favorite markets, storefronts, and decorated streets! I hope you fall in love with London like I did!

Leadenhall Market

This is such a warm and enchanting Christmas find! They have such beautiful decorations including rows and rows of garland leading you to a gorgeous Christmas tree. Tip: if you're a Harry Potter fan, this is also a well-known filming location! ⚡️

Covent Garden

In Covent Garden, you can find a legendary, MASSIVE Christmas tree and some giant decorations inside the main market building! In recent years, they have also been surprising crowds with 'snow showers'! ❄️ Fun fact: the tree in Covent Garden is actually the largest Christmas tree in London!

Leicester Square turns into a Christmas market around the holiday season! They also had a stage for special events. When I visited, I got to listen to carolers while drinking mulled wine and perusing the different gingerbread-style booths! How Christmassy is that!? 🎶

One of London's most well-known parks is transformed into a massive Winter Carnival! You do need to book tickets for this so I'd advise booking them well in advance!

Christmas at Kew

This spot is a bit outside of the main centre of London, but the botanical gardens are transformed into a winter wonderland with beautiful light displays and Christmas installations! This is another event I HIGHLY recommend booking in advance, the 2 years I lived in London I wasn't able to visit because we didn't get tickets in time!

Fortnum and Mason's decorations were so clever! They have been decorating the facade along the theme of an advent calendar. Each window has a number which they illuminate as they count down to Christmas! 📅 Tip: Be sure to visit INSIDE as well!!!

Harrods always has lights on their facade, however, at Christmas, they have some of the most creative and fun window displays! I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out! 🛍️ Tip: Don't forget to visit inside as well - Harrods is ICONIC!

Burlington Arcade

You can find surprisingly beautiful arcades (covered streets) around London, but this particular one I stumbled across had some beautifully decorated storefronts and twinkle lights dangling from the glass ceiling! So magical! 💝

Regent Street is by far my favourite spot to experience Christmas in London. The street is covered in this beautiful blanket of lights, it is so magical and probably the most iconic spot to visit! 😇 Tip: If you want to know where along Regent Street to visit, from what I've found it's localized around this area: 122-124 Regent St., London W1B 5SA!

In London's theatre district you can find another beautiful twinkling display! They usually follow a certain theme, in the past, they've used a 'Festive Woodland' and 'Star' theme! ⭐️
