All of the rooms have a beach-inspired design to create the perfect vacation vibe for your stay. Casa Love Sayulita
@thatch
This adorable boutique hotel may not be the fanciest, but it’s literally steps from the beach. It’s optimal for anyone visiting Sayulita on a surf trip because of it’s rooftop which is perfect for your early morning surf check - or a nice yoga session. The hotel is owned by the Mignot family, a French/Argentine expat family full of surfers. You’ll definitely get to know them, as many of them live in the hotel. With a surf shop on almost every corner, and some of the best waves around (Trestles and San Onofre), this little town will have you coming back. The Surfbreak Hotel has upscale vibes while not being too pretentious. It caters to surfers in particular, and most rooms have ocean views.

Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club
@thatch
Waikiki is about as touristy as it gets for a visit to Hawaii, but it also is one of the world’s favorite places for longboard waves, and learning to surf. There are a ton of hotel options in the area, but one of our favorites is the SurfJack. This boutique hotel has been renovated while still maintaining a funky 1950’s vibe. Most rooms have views of the waves, and you’ll be able to walk to Queens and Canoes (two of Waikiki’s favorite surf breaks) from your room.
