Introduction

The best way to describe Puerto Vallarta (aka PV) is magical and chill with a side of party and tacos. Something about the energy is Puerto Vallarta is just magical from the sunsets to the tacos to the street mangoes!

When I visited Puerto Vallarta, I was female solo traveling! For those that are solo traveling, I did feel safe walking around PV alone. I would even leave my airbnb at night to get tacos and churros and felt safe! Now I do not recommend you walk around alone if you do not feel comfortable, but I stated that to note that I believe that the area is safe.

The community of PV consists of retirees from the US, older local community, and very much LBGTQ friendly atmosphere! You probably heard older community and got scared but do not worry there is plenty of fun to be had in PV! When I traveled here, I did ATV riding over the Jorullo Bridge (Longest Suspension Bridge in the World), Snorkeling around Los Arcos, 6 Hidden Beach Hike, Live concerts, Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and more!
