Nicaragua Tips
Transportation : Taxis and shuttles will be your best friend! Buses are also very commonly used and are inexpensive.
Currency is called Cordoba which is at a $1 usd/$36 cordoba exchange rate as of now.

Once youve arrived in Managua, the capital of the country, you have a few options when it comes to routes. For ease, I suggest flying directly to the Corn Islands, which are on the Caribbean side of Nicaragua. Roughly a 2 hour flight. You could also chose to do this last before flying home. Below I have attached the private airline where you would want to buy tickets from. There is a $70 tax per booking, so its best to buy your return flight as well.

The corn islands, located on the Carribean side of the country are known as little paradises. Consisting of two seperate islands, Big corn and Little corn, you can stay at either. Crystal clear water with amazing snorkeling and fresh fruit!
