Cala
@digitalnomadtravel
βοΈ | Cala is the BEST place to watch the sunset. It's literally ON the water, and the waves come right up to the open air dining room. The sushi is great as are the cocktails. The people watching (and surfer watching) is unparalleled. Be prepared for IG worthy snaps.πΈ

Panchita - Miraflores
@digitalnomadtravel
βοΈ | Hands down the best Peruvian food I had in the month I lived in Lima. If you're feeling adventurous try the anticuchos - beef heart marinated, skewered, and seared over the grill. It really is so good.
Try the lomo saltado, ceviche, aji de gallina (another Peruvian must taste) & don't miss the picarones for desert!

La Mar CevicherΓa Peruana
@digitalnomadtravel
β | Seafood, Ceviche
This needs to be a must-stop on your itinerary, so I'm putting it first! This may be the best ceviche I've had - order it Peruana style. The seafood is so fresh here, and paired with a pisco sour, you really can't go wrong.

Punto Azul
@digitalnomadtravel
β | Seafood, Ceviche
This is La Mar's nemesis that locals will debate about which has the better ceviche - I suggest trying them both and deciding for yourself!
A local dish I had here that I was obsessed with is the tacu tacu especial - it's a fried mix of beans and rice with breaded fish on top. Doesn't sound that amazing but it's super good comfort food.

β | The new Nikkei joint (Peruvian-Japanese). A great fusion of flavors.
Fun atmosphere and music, lively at night, great food, I went multiple times!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Khara K.
Hi, I'm Khara π I live to explore and taste my way through different cultures and cities, while working remotely and enjoying the perks of digital nomad life. When I am not out in the world, I call Los Angeles homebase and I love exploring California with my pup Roman.
You're probably thinking... why should I trust her and how do I know she even has good taste!? Great questions!
Here's the thing - I've already done the research, spent the time (and $$) doing the trial and error, trying the not-so-great places and eating some things that may have even gotten me sick! ππ£ All so YOU don't have to. ππ So if you don't feel like reading countless blogs, combing through yelp reviews and pulling your hair out trying to narrow down lists on Trip Advisor, then take my advice - promise I won't steer you wrong.π΄βοΈ π
