I came to Greece for a wedding in Lagonissi. Was supposed to be there for 2 weeks and I ended up spending more than 2 months there! I loved every moment.

If you're looking for someone to help plan your trip, I'm your guide. I have recommendations for affordable places to stay and some locals you can meet as well :)

While there, I visited:

- Lagonisi

- Athens

- Glyfada

- Piraeus

- Kythnos

- Milos

- Aegina

- Mykonos

I have a particular style when I travel though: I don't like crowds and I don't go to many tourist attractions. So most of the places I visited had less than a handful of people and locals. I ended up learning enough Greek to have a great time and not be stressed out.

Places To Stay

Every place I stayed in had strong WiFi as well: I was working remotely then and I needed it.

If you're looking for a nice quiet place away from the hustle an bustle of downtown athens, but nearby, look no further! There are a bunch of delicious restaurants near here, and the airbnb we stayed at was INCREDIBLE and in a safe location too.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hey my name is Aderinsola Akintilo, you can call me Sol. I'm addicted to traveling and have been to every continent. My goal is to travel to every country and take my family with me. I realized that I have so much content and information about different cities that are just stored on my phone, and I want to share that info with folks who may not be as comfortable planning or traveling! I used to be a rugged traveler, but recently (2022) I've started ensuring that I stay in comfortable (semi-luxurious) places once I land. I'm a great mix of energy, my travels always include adventures (sky diving, volcano hiking, snorkeling, surfing, etc). And equal amounts of relaxation: spas, eating, walking around, learning the local language and culture.
