Clubs

XS Nightclub
@Dancing_Geologist
One of the 1st nightclubs I ever went to in Vegas! Loved the music (typically EDM) and that there is a huge outdoor area where you can still get drinks and dance the night away. Higher end nightclub. *Guestlist connections available (check out my services).

Gatsby's Cocktail Lounge
@Dancing_Geologist
Been here twice and I love it!! It is a more intimate lounge with great DJs, but awesome venue if you have a few people in your group who don't care for nightclubs. This is a good middle ground in between a bar and a nightclub. There is space to dance, and of course I would know, I made space! *Guestlist connections available (check out my services).

On The Record
@Dancing_Geologist
Nightclub, speakeasy, outdoor venue. Which one?? All 3!! When you walk in to this club it looks like any other night club. Start exploring and you never know where you'll end up; outside by a double decker bus or in a hidden gem sipping on a fancy cocktail. *Guestlist connections available (check out my services).

Pool Parties

EBC (Encore Beach Club)
@Dancing_Geologist
My absolute favorite pool party!! This one is always on my list when I visit. I prefer to get there right when they open to avoid lines and start with a clean pool. Love the music and crowd. Grab a cocktail pitcher to split or for yourself! Your wallet will thank you in the long run (well, maybe not, it is Vegas after all!). *Guestlist connections available (check out my services).

Wet Republic Ultra Pool
@Dancing_Geologist
Went here on a Sunday and it did not disappoint! It was more of a chill vibe, that is until after you've have a few too many drinks. Bartender was so friendly (it was my b-day) and i'm sure he gave me a free drink or two! One of the smaller pool parties in Vegas. *Guestlist connections available (check out my services).

Marquee Dayclub
@Dancing_Geologist
Dayclub (pool party) and Nightclub. Vibes are very lively with some of the hottest DJs. There is an outdoor area which is great if you cant stand loud music (or forget your ear plugs-it is small inside). Only downside are the flights of stairs you need to climb to get to the club. The elevator is only for coming down (unless you utilize accessible access). *Guestlist connections available (check out my services).

Eats

Nacho Daddy
@Dancing_Geologist
Delicious nachos!!!! Shareable sides unless you can eat a lot! I recommend getting at least 2 different dishes to share. Definitely a place I need to visit again! Entrance is attached to the outside of Planet Hollywood (no access from inside) near the corner.

In-N-Out Burger
@Dancing_Geologist
This one is for all the non-west coast visitors! In-N-Out, need I say more?

Gordon Ramsay Burger Las Vegas
@Dancing_Geologist
I'm a HUGE Gordon Ramsay fan so I had to add at least one of his restaurants on here. This place can be pretty busy so plan to wait a while unless you are a solo eater. These burgers are delicious and you never know if you just might get to meet Gordon Ramsay. I have yet to meet or see him in person!! If you love truffles, get the truffle fries (or the truffle burger).

Sleeps

Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club Resort
@Dancing_Geologist
Perfectly located directly behind the strip across from the LINQ hotel (~5-10min walk to strip). This hotel is great for larger groups or if you want a full-size kitchen to cook in (villa style). They do have a small restaurant and store on site. Great if you have kids who are staying behind with a sitter (kid-friendly activities available). I love that this hotel is walkable to the strip and has pools of its own with a DJ for a couple hours. I call it my home away from home.

The LINQ Hotel + Experience
@Dancing_Geologist
I think this hotel is in the perfect location on the strip and has a lot to offer. The LINQ Promenade is a shopping, dining, and attraction experience (hence the name). There are lots of great eats, places to shop, desert venues, and a few attractions (zipline, high roller, selfie museum, VR). Being a Gordon Ramsay fan, this is home to his Fish and Chips restaurant. ;)

Attractions

High Roller
@Dancing_Geologist
Wanna be 550feet (168m) in the air? Well this is the place to be! The High Roller is the largest observation wheel (fancy word for ferris wheel) in the U.S. There are 28 pods that can carry up to 40 people. The ride is about 30min long and does one rotation. The sights at night are beautiful!! Tag this with the zipline for a discount!

"Volcano" at The Mirage
@Dancing_Geologist
As a geologist, this is a must see on my list...the catch is, on July 17, 2024 the Mirage is closing it's doors forever and the iconic Volcano will become extinct after ~35 years. Hurry up and go watch the last eruption of the Volcano. You can even feel the heat from the eruption across the street at the Venetian. It is a neat historic icon on the strip who's days are numbered. I am shedding tears as another Volcano will become extinct, after 34 years (the youngest volcano to become extinct...lol)! *Video below if you can't make it before July 17, 2024.

Bellagio Fountain
@Dancing_Geologist
Like the Volcano, the Bellagio Fountains are a must see! The power of water and attention to detail flows perfectly to the complementing music. Take a break from walking and watch this spectacular show (day and night if possible!).

Hi! I'm Zakiya, the Dancing Geologist! Yes, I do rock to the beat! My travel journey started when I was a kid and my family would travel to Vegas, what seemed like once a month but was probably once a year! Ever since then I have made it a personal tradition of mine to go to Vegas at least once a year (for my birthday)! Every year I find something new to do and try, it is definitely a city that is constantly changing, yet keeps a few of those all time favorites. Whenever I travel or plan an event I would always make itineraries so that I don't waste any time on my trips! You must be thinking, but that is SOOO MUCH WORK!! Yes! Yes it is, but I love it! Being able to put in the work beforehand and just enjoy my trip, takes out all the stress and hassel of traveling. I want to share that with you! :) What I Provide (Vegas Baby!): 1. Guides 2. Custom Travel Itineraries 3. Personalized Recommendations 4. Phone/Video Consultations Why Should you Pick me? - VEGAS! VEGAS! VEGAS!
