If you’re heading to Belfast, Northern Ireland, here are some of my favorite spots to eat and drink after living there for 5 months and visiting twice since🍻

Where to eat

Granny Annies Kitchen
@insidethevalise
Amazing cocktails and food! They have live music pretty often in the evenings, and the coolest thing about this place? It really feels like you’re in grandma’s house and, if you look up there’s a whole other house upside down on the ceiling!

St George's Market
@insidethevalise
Every Friday-Sunday you can visit St. George’s Market and try some of the delicious food vendors. They have everything from crepes to falafel, burgers to baps. And while you’re eating you can browse the many handcraft stands too.

Nando's Belfast - Bedford Street
@insidethevalise
Okay this isn’t a cute little hole in the wall, it’s a chain. BUT if you’ve never been in the UK before then you’ve most likely never had Nando’s before and you have to try it! It’s a chicken restaurant and it’s sooo good.

Harlem Cafe
@insidethevalise
For some delicious breakfast/brunch, this is your place. They have fluffy pancakes, sourdough toast, eggs, bacon, traditional Irish breakfasts, all the things! 🍳

@insidethevalise
A fun, multi-floor bar with a different vibe on each level! Downstairs they do karaoke on some nights, another floor serves mainly food, and on the top floor they have pool tables.

One of the most well-known pubs in Belfast with a beautiful interior and exterior from the 19th century.

Limelight
@insidethevalise
If you enjoy clubbing, Limelight is the place to be! They have 3 different rooms with different genres of music in each one. Be aware that they do have a cover charge of 5-6£.

Laverys
@insidethevalise
This is a great place to grab a drink, play some pool or watch a sporting event on TV. They also have a large outdoor area.

A large outdoor bar with some street food options as well.

As you can probably tell from this guide, I did a lot more drinking than eating during my time in Belfast 😅

Bri
Hi! I’m Bri, an American currently studying a Masters degree in Paris, France. I travel primarily in Europe, but I’ve also explored countries like Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico, with more to come. I had a goal of visiting 25 countries during my 25th year of life, and I just recently reached that goal🥳 with a trip to Romania. Before moving to Paris, I was in a long distance relationship with my French boyfriend🇫🇷 for 4.5 years. When I would visit him, I was able to explore parts of France you might not typically see on social media, and plan to continue to do so now that I live here! From the best bars🍷 in Belfast, Northern Ireland to the most beautiful beaches in Lagos, Portugal, to all of the hidden gems of France - I’ve got you covered! Hope you find my guides useful, and hope they make your next trip a little more enjoyable. 🧳
