I was in Nicaragua in May, which is the start of their rainy winter season. The weather was very hot and humid in most places were visited. We did experience some rainy days as well. I would recommend only booking places with air conditioning, as the heat and humidity can be very tiring. We booked an Airbnb with no AC and regretted it. Most restaurants & cafes are open format and do not have AC either.
