Swim through or under the HMAS Brisbane Wreck - Australia

Here is a insight of what you can see:
Why is this dive site so special?
Suba World is saying this on their website: As you approach the forward gun of the ex HMAS Brisbane wreck, clownfish dash from their colourful, cascading anemones to greet Scuba Worldβs excited divers; blue and green wrasse also join the celebration in a colourful display. Watch Out! Copious octopus eyes watch your every move; scorpion fish smoothly disguise themselves in the all-encompassing coral growth concealing every inch of the mighty warship.
And I canβt more agree with that! The fact that you can see so much wildlife underwater including bull rays and grey nurse sharks AND swim around, through and underneath a magic wreck, just leaves me speechless.
Personal experience:
I have done so many dives on this dive site since I have done my divemaster certification here. Because of that this is a very special place to me. But not just because of thatβ¦ I made so many beautiful friends while diving with Scuba World, that I am still in contact with today. In addition to that this dive site is just so so stunning.. I would even say perfect. You have it allβ¦wreckβ¦big wildlifeβ¦ small wildlifeβ¦ history. So what are you waiting for?
How will the day look like?
When you get to the dive shop you will be welcomed and send upstairs to the dive shop to fill out some forms. When you are finished with that, it is already time to get ready for the dive. The personal will help you, if you feel unsure about something. If you booked some rental gear, they will hand it out to you. When everyone is done, they will tell you some more about the history of the wreck. They even have a mini version of the wreck that they show you.
After that everyone grabs their gear and is walking to the boat it is transporting you to the dive site. On the boat they will explain more about the divesite. Itβs not even a 30 minutes drive.
When you get to the divesite everybody gets ready and is doing a backwards roll from the boat. Everyone is descending on a line that leads directly to the wreck.
From here on it depends on the day, the certification and the group where you will head. If you and your group have the advanced certification you can go underneath the front of the wreck. Mostly on the first dive you explore the outside of the wreck and on the second dive you will swim through the inside of the wreck.
On the break they will offer you soup (winter) or bread and some kind of fruit and sweets. They also have drinking water available. There is a toilet as well.
Itβs a lot of fun to talk to the other divers during the break and get inspired by their experiences.
After the second dive you will head back and once you are back on land everyone will wash their gear.
