In December, Santa returns to the Festival on select nights for photos at the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse.
You are invited to visit the to meet Santa Claus and get a complimentary digital photo to capture this holiday tradition brought to you by Ontario Power Generation.
Make sure you stop for a photo with our furry friends! The Misty Kids are back and can be found near their cabins in Queen Victora Park. This is their favourite time of year so donāt be surprised if you see them singing, dancing and handing out high five.

The mighty American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls will come to life every evening with this tribute to the natural beauty all around us.
The display is part of the regular nightly illumination of the Falls, with the five-minute lighting display playing through on the hour, at 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm each evening between November 16, 2024 and January 5, 2025.
Parking could be very expensive especially close to the falls.
The best spot I can find is a small lot at the very end of Robinson Street for $10 and you're good until 2am ( we came at around 7pm). Its like 3 mins walk down to the falls. There is a guy sitting there you just pay him.
Or if you are willing to do a 20-30 mins walk you might find a good spot for free on a resident street around the area.

5. Fireworks
šš The WFOL - Winter Festival Of Lights Fireworks series will kick off on Saturday, November 16th and continue every Friday and Saturday evening at 8:00pm. āØ The parade will start at the intersection of King and Centre Street in Old Town and travel throughout its traditional route down Castlereagh, Wellington, Byron/Prideaux, Simcoe, and Queen Streets.

14. New Yearās Eve Celebration
Celebrate the holidays with breathtaking fireworks displays over the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. One of my top pick in the area, this restaurant is located in the Embassy Suites Fallsview. It is best to make a reservation to enjoy a meal here, even during the slower winter months.
Unfortunately they're currently closed for now and will reopen Spring 2025.
Another top place to enjoy a fantastic meal along with clear vistas of both the American and Canadian falls is the Watermark Restaurant. Located in the Hilton Fallsview Hotel, this dining option is well known for using locally sourced products and an extensive menu, which will suit anyoneās tastes.
Located in the Marriott Fallsview Hotel, this is another excellent dining opportunity in the area.
With a clear view of the rushing waters, along with a fantastically diverse menu, this restaurant also features many local Niagara region wines, making it a great place to leisurely enjoy a fine lunch or dinner.
Free parking is available if you are dining in the restaurant.
Housed on the 26th Floor of the Fallsview Tower Hotel, this restaurant proclaims it has āa view like no otherā.
If you are making the rounds of the steakhouses in town, then this is a must visit, with a fantastic menu and some of the best views around.
Reservations are recommended, and complimentary parking is available through the valet.
Located in another hotel property, this restaurant is a great place for larger groups. Sheraton on the Falls is home to this fabulous eatery, featuring the culinary creations of Chef Massimo Capra and an extensive wine menu.
