Geneva is a great city in the heart of French-speaking Switzerland, and right next to France. Don't believe what they say when they tell you it's boring, there are plenty of things to do and see and it's the outdoor lover's paradise. What to know about Geneva

Geneva is a charming medium sized city, right by the Alps. It's usually the point of call for people who are going off skiing or exploring mountains nearby, but it's well worth a visit of its own.

It's perfect for people who love nature and the outdoors, there are tons of outdoor focused activities, notwithstanding its proximity to nature.

Beware that as in Switzerland overall, prices are expensive. It's comparable to European capitals but in some cases you might be shocked by high(er) prices, this is normal. Be prepared for it and come with a slightly higher budget than usual.
