Dinner at La Sofitta was probably our favorite in Rome. Everything on the menu can be made gf. It’s just amazing. You don’t find this in the US. They take allergies so seriously. My son couldn’t decide so he ordered both gnocchi and a calzone. Both came with allergy markers. They also took us inside to show us their entire refrigerator of gluten-free dessert options. Unbelievable!! Note that they also have a list in the back of the menu of the top 14 allergens, and the entire menu is coded to Denote which allergens are in which dishes.

While I didn’t get a pic of The gluten free pasta, the whole menu can be made gf and you can see from pictures of the menu how seriously Celiac is taken. 2 chefs, 2 kitchens, 2 ovens. Amazing!

I love how they put a painted Coke bottle on the table that says no glutine to denote the person that is gluten-free

Pantha Rei has huge separate GF menu and they put a marker at the GF person’s spot. They also bring GF bread to the table.

Cimarra 4 Pizzeria & Cocktail Bar (anche Senza Glutine)

This was our first dinner in Rome, and it did not disappoint. They have a completely separate gluten-free kitchen, and the owners wife has celiac disease. The calzone was amazing as was the pizza. The owner even recommended where we should go for some gluten-free gelato after dinner. I love that the food came out with a Gluten free allergy pick!

Cimarra4 was another favorite! It’s Only about a year old, it’s AIC certified and the owner’s wife has celiac disease.
