Pack wisely.

Well, traveling in Europe is really different depending on the season. Winter can be really cold in the north, pretty okay in the south. Can be 45 degrees or 20 in summer. Sooo if you are planning on doing a european tour, i would sugget to pack wisely : use layers (in Europe, we say dress like an oignon, easy to remember). You can travel with only a backpack, i did it, but just be prepared to face different temperature, even in a day. Alsoooo, WE WALK HERE. Don't forget to bring good shoes.

Even if you don't want to stay in hostel, have a look.

As a solotraveler myself, i am used to stay in dorms. Ok its also because its cheap but more important : its easier to meet people there. Usually, hostels organize activities, so that you cant enjoy time with others travelers. But staying in dorms can be exhausting, you also have other options : go there for a drink and meet people or find hostels with private rooms. Here are some good ones that i liked around Europe.

Use public transportation.

From one country to another, even in the same country, it is sooo easy to use public transporation such as bus or train (distances are pretty small here). Easy to understand, easy to find. You arrive mostly in cities, which is a great start for solo travelers, to experience a new country, discover the culture and meet people. In some countries like France, you can also reach nature with bus or train. Don't hesitate to download some local transportations apps or ask the locals. YES we are nice :)

Meet the locals.

In Europe, it is pretty easy to meet people, but i know difficult to make the first move. Sooo my advice is to use apps such as "MEETUP" in order to meet locals. I used it for 2 years to plan events for locals, it worked perfectly. From hiking, to yoga class, to wine testing, you can find everything. But if you're not the shy one, coffeeshops or bars are also a good way to talk to locals. Just avoid talking to french or italians before the first coffee in the morning ahahah
