When to go to London?
Visiting London is always a good idea, regardless of the season of the year you are in. The best time to visit is from May to early September, when temperatures are a little warmer and rainfall is scarcer. Avoid the months colder (such as from November to February) because in addition to the harsh cold it often rains. So if you intend to book a trip to London at Christmas, bring an umbrella and warm clothing.
How to get around London?
Visiting London on foot is unthinkable as it is a very large city and the attractions are scattered throughout the territory. I advise you to rely on public transport such as buses, subways and suburban trains. Taxis should be excluded as they are very expensive. To travel on all public transport in London and spend your holiday in peace, I recommend the London Pass with the Visitor Oyster Card option which, in addition to offering free entry to over 80 London attractions and discounts on attractions, you can also travel on public transport. Or you can buy an Oystercard and load it with Day Travelcard, a ticket that gives you the freedom to travel as much as you like on buses, tubes, trams, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail and National Rail and can be daily, weekly, monthly and annual. In this case I recommend it if you have to stay for almost a week.
