All about tasty food in Cali, Colombia.
Well, to be honest, this is my first time writing a guide, but I feel like it might be worth it, as I've been walking and eating around this city for the past 15 + years. English isn't my first language either, so please excuse any mistakes, will try my best.
Cali, as the biggest city in the south western part of Colombia, is a special place, as it is a point of gathering for all sorts of people looking for better opportunities. Coming from very varied places, such as Choco, Nariño, Cauca and the Amazon, to name just a few, this people have come to Cali bringing their own culture, in terms of music, languages, cosmovisions, and of course, food.
Furthermore, Cali (and its surroundings) is also home to a very rich ecosystem, that sustains a wide arrange of forms of life, so it's easy to find many different types of fruits, vegetables, fishes, game meat, etc.
To not make it longer, I'll list a few spots I enjoy as a "Caleño", placing them in 3 different categories, according to their price, and also noting when there might be specific dietary options, such as vegetarian or vegan.
