Walk across Charles Bridge (built in 1396 to put into perspective )    *If you want to see it without people, go at like 7am and it will be totally empty, I know it's early but it's worth it. Also late at night like 10/11pm it's mostly empty.

Prague Castle: Walk up from Malostranske namesti (Church of Saint Nicholas) and walk up the main street to the castle. It's kinda steep uphill but the street is really beautiful and it takes you all the way up directly to the castle.    *You can buy tickets to enter the St. Vitus Cathedral and other places inside the castle area, but you can also just walk around the whole castle area for free. It's only if you want to enter inside somewhere that you need an actual ticket. There is a really cool area called Novy Svet that most people don't know about and it's nice to walk around there (it's very close to the castle, surely it's on Google). Also the castle gardens are free to enter and really beautiful as well

Go up to the rooftop of the Dancing House (free entry if you purchase a drink)

Visit Old Town Square and see the Astronomical Clock (if you want to see the clock do it's thing, it happens every hour on the hour, but it's quite underwhelming to be honest)

John Lennon Wall-Walking up and down the riverside is one of my favorite things to do, it's really beautiful just to take a walk from Charles Bridge all the way down to Vysehrad Castle (another cool place to explore if you have time), and at some points the sidewalk goes down and you can walk directly down by the river where they have boat bars - it's called Naplavka 

Wenceslas Square: grab a coffee and pastries

Cafe Imperial (dinner, 10 mins walk from your hotel)   You would probably need a reservation like a week or two in advance. They also have a special breakfast buffet thing that is supposed to be really nice but I haven't been. We always go for dinner, it's our favorite restaurant and it's owned/run by the Czech equivalent of Gordon Ramsey 

Spojka Karlin (dinner, 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel)

Zvonice - enjoy dinner inside a 14th century Prague spire tower. You'd need reservations cause the space is small up there, but pretty cool experience!

Dolce Vita Cafe is on the other side of the river but it has a great view if it's sunny and you can sit outside. 

"instagramable" desserts at famous cafe "Mysak Cukrarna"

Taste wines and cheese/charcuterie at Vinograff (near Wenceslas square)  

If you like beer, Czech Republic is famous for it: check out "Lokal" for local Czech food and beer. There is a Lokal really close to your hotel, and the guys who work there recently opened up their own craft beer bar (with all local Czech beers) really close by, like next door. It's located by Karlinske namesti (5-10 minutes walk from the hotel). 

Prague towers, it's not very expensive to go up the towers (like $5 maybe, and it's a good workout ). 

My favorites are St. Nicholas Church clock tower (the tower next to the giant green dome of the church), 

Petrin Hill tower has probably the best view of the city and the castle (you can take the funicular tram which is a fun little ride up the hill - it's included with a public transit/metro ticket), 

You can also buy a ticket to go up inside the Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square.     *Tip: Find the ticket place for the Astronomical Clock inside the "Old Town Hall",

Visit the worlds most beautiful library in Strahov Monastery library. If you want a private tour inside (more expensive).

Underground tour of Prague tunnels which is really cool. Basically you see the underground of Old Town Square as it was hundreds of years ago.
