Coffee Shops for Working in Prague

Everyone knows the awkward feeling of getting your coffee, sitting down, and realising there's no place to plug in your lap top or you're getting dirty looks from staff or customers while you're trying to get your work done. I've scouted many a coffee shop and here are the best ones in each neighborhood within the city center for getting sh*t done.

Kampus Hybernska is a has a lot going on but the cafe in the back has indoor and outdoor seating where you can easily spend 3 or 4 hours sipping coffee and working unbothered. There's tons of plants everywhere too which, personally, helps my productivity. When you arrive outside on the sidewalk, walk through the large doorway and into the courtyard. Keep walking straight through until you get to the back wall and you'll see the sign for the cafe!

Super Tramp Coffee

Super Tramp is pretty small on the inside so if it's not nice enough to sit in the courtyard I'd potentially reconsider this option. However, if you do snag a seat inside you're welcome to stay for as long as you like. The coffee at this place is phenomenal - anything you get will be worth it. Plus, if you ARE looking for a fun souvenir, Super Tramp has really cute merch so definitely grab something here instead of the overpriced "Prague" sweatshirts next to the Charles Bridge.

VNITROBLOCK

Vnitroblock is a place for those hip digital nomads (but if you're not you can still go). There's couches, comfy chairs, and regular chairs at tables to choose from for seating. Try to find an outlet before choosing a seat because not every seat has an outlet close by. Avoid the "cafeteria" style seating (long tables and benches) because those are for people who are eating and chatting. Once you find a seat, head to the coffee bar in the middle of the space. You can order coffee, sweets, or food and I recommend any or all of it - everything I've ordered here has been superb. (Vegan options available!)
