Day 1- We started our trip by flying into Salt Lake City, Utah as that was the most economic flight we found. Upon landing we picked up our rental car and explored downtown Salt Lake City. We found the City Creek Canyon Trailhead which was a short hike but the view from the top was amazing we were able to see most of Salt Lake City. After exploring Salt Lake City we head to Park City where we were spending the night. Park City was a great little town to check out, we had drinks at and stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Park City

Great hotel and location, it's about 10 min from downtown Park City but located by many restaurants, there was a Walmart nearby and coffee shop. Very comfortable for our stay.

Day 2- We were up early this morning and started our drive to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It's a 4 hr and 30 min drive thru some very beautiful scenery a lot of mountains.  Upon our arrival we checked into our hotel The Virginian Lodge, which was an excellent facility. We decided to explore the town of Jackson Hole this afternoon below are some of the places we checked out and recommend.

The Virginian Lodge

Great hotel, the rooms were very comfortable, the pool and hot tub was great. The main courtyard area had fire pits to hang out at night, they offered free s'mores. The bar at the hotel was very fun at night. Overall we had a great experience.

Hatch Taqueria & Tequilas

Great food and margaritas. We had the bison enchiladas and elk quesadilla and they were simply delicious. Also tried the huckleberry margarita and for someone who doesn't like tequila it was delicious. A must try

Very spacious location, we saw a lot of families so kid friendly. Big outdoor area to enjoy the scenery. The staff was great and plenty of beer selections.

Day 3- We had an early start as we drove into Grand Teton National Park. We decided to buy the America the Beautiful Park Pass ($80) since we were also visiting Yellowstone. It made sense since each park entry is about $35-$40 and with the pass you can visit any National Park in the US. We only had one day in Grand Teton so we made the best of it by checking out the popular areas we wanted to see.
