The drive from Barcelona to La Rioja takes approximately 4.5 to 5 hours, covering around 450 kilometers (280 miles). On the way, a quick stop in Zaragoza is a great idea for lunch. Zaragoza, located about halfway between Barcelona and La Rioja, offers a perfect break with its rich history, beautiful architecture, and delicious Aragonese cuisine.
