Santa Barbara holds a very special place in my heart and might actually be my favorite city in the United States. I had the luxury of living here for a few years in my 20s during which my friends named it Perfectville. It might actually be as close to perfect as a place can get- there are infinite things to do in a seemingly small city, with every street corner prettier than the next. With both the mountains and the ocean at your fingertips, there’s something here for everyone. I’ve curated a guide of some of my favorite things to do in Santa Barbara in hopes that you can experience the true essence of this place. Hopefully this guide can inspire you just as this place inspires me.
Top things to do:
1. The Courthouse: Have a picnic in the courtyard or go up in the clock tower for panoramic views of where the mountains meet the ocean with the beautiful Spanish rooftops of the buildings in between.
