Being on a plant-based diet can be tricky when overseas, especially in a city where you don't speak the local language fluently. Here is a quick short guide on where to find plant-based desserts in Tokyo. Hope you will enjoy it! Disclaimer: The information here are as good as the date published. As stores open and closed periodically, sometimes without announcements, do google or check before visiting to avoid disappointment. Also, in Japan, the term plant-based is loosely used. Strict vegans may want to pay attention and check the ingredients used.

Right opposite Shinjuku park, I really love this little dessert shop selling lovely plant-based cakes and snacks. They also sell light bites. The shop is a little small and can get full pretty quickly. My favorite items of this shop is there Strawberry Shortcake. It's light, creamy and delicious. Do also try out their tiramisu.

TUTTO 清澄白河店
@khoo8185
Tutto is a little distance away from the subway station and this is a very small shop. Do note that if you want to dine in, you will have to buy a drink to have the ice cream in the shop. Do try their ice cream crepe. It is to die for.

Hello! Everyone, Welcome to LazyGirls_Travels. I'm Yuanling. Together with my sister, we are Singaporeans. We are beyond the age of girls but I think lazygirls have a better ring to the name than lazywomen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. We are introverts so we tend to avoid crowds, travel slow, instead of packing everything in a short time frame. I am also severely lactose intolerant so I am always on a hunt out for plant-based desserts. I love to share my favorite spots here so that more people can find them.
