Tips & Tricks
Questacon’s layout encourages you to start from the top floor and walk down the internal spiral concourse. If travelling with small children, start from the bottom, as this is where the most age appropriate attractions are, including Mini Q.
Mini Q has a maximum person limit. During busy periods including school holidays, staff manage this by rotating people through every 30 minutes. You can however, immediately queue up again.

Non-members must enter through the front entrance. It’s a uphill walk to the playground which is at the rear of the zoo. Consider stopping for snacks at the lions and after the giraffes who overlook Scrivener Dam.
